Trails

A paradise for those who love hiking, Andros has over 25 hiking trails. With about 300 km of hiking trails, certified since 2015 by the European Confederation of Hiking Clubs, Andros is the only island in Europe that has this certification! The certification mark is the result of the long-term effort of the island’s institutions and the promotion of the trails by the network “Andros Routes” for the registration of the routes, the signposting and their cleaning. A breathtaking view from the peaks of the island’s mountain ranges, the rivers (Achla, Vori, Pythara), the waterfalls, the bridges, the watermills, the springs, the monasteries, the hundreds of chapels all over the island and the valleys accompany – and of course reward – those who choose to discover the natural wealth of Andros. Find exciting routes with varying degrees of difficulty, for both experienced and beginners hiking enthusiasts.
